I spoke with Mr. Madison at the Super Derby last year and he was very upset about Happy Ticket but was excited about the foal. Good luck to him!

from what i read, the filly born nine days before her mother passed was healthy. i wrote to the farm, inquiring on her since seeing this thread. haven't heard back yet, but hope the empire maker filly is still well.

Yes, it is. I loved Ticket and hoped whatever foals she had would help soften the sting of her dying so young.

Very classy guy and the type of owner you have to love, he was as interested in talking about his horses as he was the following day's Pick 4 because he likes to place a wager or two.

Why don't you and a couple of others go find another thread to participate in.

This colt may not mean a whole lot to you, but he does to me and others who appreciated the warrior his mother was.

I appreciated his mother VERY much...I asked where he was pointing towards and Kasept said "his debut." Talk to him about sarcasm, not me.
