None too excited about facing Yawkey Way again. But otherwise, this looks like a very good spot.

I feel the same about Yawkey Way. I'm surprised to see Lady Vi in this (and the other horses from the Lady Finger Stakes). I never like to see horses running back too soon, especially 2 year olds.

Answering my own question:

55 fillies nominated* (*pending late mail), including Freuds On Holidays, Kocher Girl, and Letshootpool from the Friendly Beauty. Entries close next Wednesday.

Default Watkins Glen

If we go to the front which seems to be Ausable's preferred style, Watkins Glen could pose a problem with her extreme speed

Watkins Glen is NOT running according to Trombetta, and Letshootpool is almost certainly not running according to owner Lee Einsideler. Yawkey Way appears doubtful as well. Lecesse isn't running both of his (Freud On Holidays & Kocher Girl), if any, and Saltamontes has been absent from the worktab since her debut. And I'm not sure Serpe runs Lady Vi again this quickly..

May get 6 or 7? We'll know be about 12:30 today..

AUSABLE CHASM
QUEEN'S HARBOR
READYGETSGOLD
ROSA SALVAJE
SALTAMONTES?
FREUDS ON HOLIDAYS?/KOCHER GIRL?
LADY VI?

This race becomes more intriguing the more inside information you hear. Now, I'm even more nervous to see what happens.

Well, at least Watkins Glen isn't in the race... all the other fillies I was worried about are in, though. Is there a chance some of these will be late scratches? I'm not that familiar with how they do things at Belmont.

To be the best, you have to run with the best. Cool runnings, Zinger. I know you can do it.
