Well to be fair the point about the photo, right or wrong, was not his entire article. He wrote about Looking at Lucky and not running in Jockey Club Gold Cup. How Solis wont be riding at Belmont today. Also recapped a couple of races.

He does a write up in the NY Daily News for every racing day. Obviously he had no real material or isn't smart enough to find/create a real story so instead he took a non event and tried to make it into a real story/big deal.
