Saratoga: Desormeaux okay
By David Grening ShareThis EmailPrint Kent Desormeaux appears to have escaped his spill in Friday's second race without injury. X-rays taken on Desormeaux were negative and he just has some soreness in his neck area, akin to whiplash, according to his agent, Mike Sellitto. Sellitto said a decision on whether Desormeaux would ride Saturday would be made on Saturday. Desormeaux is listed on four mounts Saturday including longshot Indian Dance in the Grade 1 Woodward. Desormeaux had to take off his final two mounts on Friday. Garrett gomez rides Classy Touch in the sixth. Rajiv Maragh rides Thabazimbi in the ninth.
