I just don’t see the need to add mediocre horses to a ticket … sure they could win, but nobody is jumping off the form for me. The Roadhouse…. I know this horses is headed in the complete wrong direction, but im interested in hearing others opinions on this race. Stream of Gold seems the only other logical horse to me in this race, but this is also a horse hitting bottom at the age of 9 with 27 lifetime starts, on form he comes off as a plodder.

There would have to be 3 or 4 $25+ winners for any chance at another C/O. The whales will be out in full force tomorrow.

The Twinspires' Players' Pool is getting involved and they'll probably play 50k worth of tickets, so it's pretty much going to get hit tomorrow, just a question of how much it'll pay.

No, I'm too much of a control freak to buy into someone else's ticket.

FWIW on Race 7, the rail horse will offer no value because of the connections but the 2nd dam dropped numerous turf winners including NY bred stakes winner Certifiably Crazy, Lentenor slayer On Vacation, and Certifiably Royal.

Thanks. Bruce Brown, Bill Recio (who had him in Ocala for about a year) and their respective staffs deserve all the credit. Bill laid a great, patient foundation with 'Wheelie, and the horse had been training great since he arrived at the Oklahoma in late June. In light of the injury that he suffered last July, this would have to rank as our partnership's most rewarding win no matter where it happened. That it occurred at Saratoga only makes it that much more special.

If only we had been able to hit the pic-6, then we would have had a tale of a lifetime. We had 5 consos, as Fancy Point and Crowned General were "B"s on our tickets, and we didn't have them tied together.
