I spoke to soon, Gallant Son is coming back here. In any case im all for Gallant Son in this race, talent and class should win here.

Heck, I didn't win THAT one.

Whodathunk my saving win of the four wagers of the day would have been a spontaneous $100 place bet on the 8 in the 7th at Ferndale as I was leaving the OTB after my main three (losing) bets.

Seemed like Chris Russell was the only real jockey in the race.

I was on the "real jockey" angle.

Noosa Beach wow! I cant knock anything about the horse even if I didnt like him to win, hats off. He probably ran one of the best local campaigns in our state's racing history. Grabbed a quarter, ran fast on a very dull/dead ground. Could be a real surpirse in the BC dirt Mile should he end up there.

Doubtful, he's not nominated.
