| Papelbon is in the process of blowing a 3 run lead going into the 9th. *edit* the lead is officially coughed up, now he is holding on for dear life from losing the game...... *double edit* Papelbon gets the hook for Bard........ *Triple edit* 4 runs in the 9th Yadda Yadda Yadda, Gales is one game closer to getting some food at the Spa. Just awful.

Funny this was the stretch that was supposed to put the Red sox away yet they are no further behind than when they started despite a unbelievavle run of crippling injuries that only a simple yankee fan would ignore. |

| No sicko, the injuries killed them. The 48 games are just 48 games out of 162. When you are missing 5 or 6 starters they all get tougher. |

| The Orioles are something like 26-14 since Showalter took over and all three have to go through them (NYY gets them in BAL, Bos & TB get them @ home). The Rays have the softest of the 3 last 3 series (Sea, KC, Bal) but Baltimore is no longer a walk through like they were pre-Showalter. The final stretch may be more exciting that it looks |
