Z doesn't need a 10f race now

Hirsch was her 5th race on the season

Only needs one more start a few weeks before the Cup

Yeah, it stinks, but that's the way the game is played now.

Relatively fresh horses seem to perform better on Championship weekend.

Not to mention the fact that it's getting late in her 6-YEAR-OLD season.

18 starts at 6 does suck, but she did not start until late in her 3yr old seasson. So that stat is a bit off.

i am well aware that she didn't race at two. in almost four years of racing, she's now got 18 starts. and he's worried about her staying fresh? sounds more like laying the groundwork should she lose, the continued mentioning of her being six. SIX, holy crap she has one foot in the grave.

That was the first thing that went through my mind. A little tap dancing and excuse making in case the queen doesn't win or even start championship weekend for that matter.

In reality, she's been racing for less than 3 years. Her first start was in November of 2007.

if she raced in 07, 08, 09, and now it's 2010, how many years is that? in november of this year, it'll be four years she's raced. at three, four, five and now at six.

ON my calendar November 2007 to August 2010 is 2 years and 9 months. She's been racing for 2 years and 9 months. When her career ends in November of 2010 she will have raced exactly 3 years. The technicalities of you horse racing people. November 2007 to November 2010 does not 4 years make. It's like stating the period of time between December 31st 2010 and January 1st 2011 will be 2 years because, December 31st took place in 2010 and January 1st took place in 2011, that's '10 and '11, therefore it's two years.

The chain really classes up Smooth Operator's tank top.

Default A classic "dodge"

First, the rockies excuse, and I'm sure there were more, and now this one:
“If we go to New York, that will mean she’ll be away from the barn for over a month,” Shirreffs said. “I don’t know if we want to do that.”

Clearly the greatest weekend of the season in North America

Winning a BC race is a big deal.

Taking down one for three straight years … simply amaZZZing
