Default Tuscan Evening

Gone?

Heart attack during a 5 furlong work on the turf course at Del Mar, reportedly.

A tragedy, as she was as game as they come.

I'm stunned and sad. Feel terrible for her connections. What a great horse she was.

I've been thinking about Tuscan Evening all day. You know, there must be a heaven. Where else would these horses go when their time is up on earth? I sure hope when I go God picks me for one of their caretakers.

mine hurts a bit today

I sure hope there's a giant pasture in the sky. Your Pine Islands, Go For Wands, Ruffians, Barbaros...they're all up there. So terrible and so sudden to lose Tuscan Evening. Such a nice horse. I'm sure her connections are devastated. I can't imagine what it's like as a rider to have a horse die under you.

Awful News! Great horse who runs her heart out everytime. Hollendoffer won today with a mare from New Zealand called Late Cuddle who won with ease. I hope she can keep up with Tuscan Evenings legacy.
