I'm not saying he was going to win, and I still have NO IDEA if he can run on the turf after watching the race, but Gomez could not have given the 1 horse a worse trip if it was simply his intent to get the worst trip imaginable.

He sure as hell isn't riding well so far this meet. Not getting the same caliber of mounts either. Maybe skipping out to Monmouth for those two months bit him in the ass with NY trainers/owners.
