Not a fan anymore Tom? , the good news is he gets to play 4 days. Every week, someone says "this is his best chance to win, he loves this course, blah, blah ,blah." He may never get back to where he was, I think he thrived in that little fantasy world he was in.

I agree he will never dominate like he has before but he will win his share. His feeling of invincibility is gone but more importantly the other tour players don't bow before him anymore. If he doesn't win this week he might not get a win this year. The PGA is at Whistling Straights and he would have struggled there even when he was on his run. I don't think he plays that much late in the season.

Better question, can he afford another publicity shot by not playing in the Ryder Cup? I bet he doesn't want to play but his handlers will force him.

Why don't you think he will want to play, Tom?

The big thing is the European press will not coddle him like the US press does. He will be asked questions about his personal life etc.......
The fact that there are many events which include wives will also be tough, because he will be grilled about his feelings of not having his wife there and if it was all worth it etc....

IMO He never seemed to be a big fan the team events but played because of obligation to sponsors and being world #1. He is a loner who likes a few of the guys on tour but would rather not take part in a group.

I miss the Tiger of old on the golf course. The Tiger that was always in the hunt on Sundays. Win or lose, at least he made it exciting. The Tiger now, finishing T-43, missing cuts, etc...just not much drama anymore.

agree Kev and it's bad for golf , he if continnues to be middle of the pack and not win multiple events each year it's bad for the pga tour and the rest of it's players , purses will not grow and ratings will drop

"I'm planning on playing my way into the team," Woods said firmly -- three times, in fact -- when asked whether he would accept a Captain's Pick.

Jack is smiling, he'll never catch him. One or two more majors tops.

He's never been good at making putting adjustments. If he doesn't have it on the greens on Thursday, he rarely finds it. For him to have nothing on this course is pretty stunning. If he's this bad on a course he's simply owned for years, I can't imagine how bad it's gunna be in the Major next week.

He's got a severe case of narcissism and things aren't going to get better for him until he takes the leash off, divorces Elin, and gets his life of multiple whores, drugs, and blackjack back.

At this point he should consider shutting it down and getting his head on straight and come back strong next year. He is obviously very distracted.
