That combined with being able to read most parts of a racing form and maybe knowing a few horsemen and basic terminology are all the qualifications required of the female handicappers and racing analysts they put on tv.

The on-air female racing analyst comes in three varieties...

1.) The rarest of them all - the halfway competent.

2.) The horrid.

3.) The most common of them all - The laughably incompetent.


You should have to prepare and be insightful whenever you do a studio show or any work as an analyst that you expect people to take seriously ... most of these pretty girl mushmouthed morons are having a good day if they can prepare for their next bowel movement.
