I have been in the Snowy Woods for the last several days and I have yet to see Thebby running wild. I did, however, spot Franny gardening the snow glories.

This one goes under the two kinds of people in the world and the taste in music they have. We have "Wheel of Fortune" people of which there are many and whom are responsible for the decay of popular music and prime time TV. The American Idols, Biggest Loser, and other reality TV. There are many of these folks thus their numbers control a good deal of what is offered by radio and network TV. Their fate like the lottery is about luck not what they know or have learned.

The others are the "Jeopardy" people of which there are far fewer, hate reality TV, will watch something that makes them think and learn. These people rely on their wits and though they embrace luck that comes their way they prefer to earn an accomplishment. Shows like Damages, LOST, The Wire etc. get their attention because they make them think.

The first time I heard Jeff Lynne speak he was telling the reporter that ELO would exceed the accomplishments of the Beatles. I may a mental note to put Mr Lynne in the "Wheel..." category as his music doesn't seem to live up to his expectations.
