![]() I hope that it can be good for horse racing because racing is exempt, but I dont feel like the government should be able to take away individual freedoms like playing online poker!! Why werent the poker lobbyist's buying off those Senators? This is just another way for our elected politicians to try to run our lives and dictate what we can and cant do.
Just because some people have problems with gambling and lose all thier money doesnt mean it should be banned (online). It is also not ruining the children of the US. How about cigarrette's? I believe that those cancer sticks ruin the lives of children more than playing some hold 'em. Government is just mad because they arent making tax money off the online gambling so they take it away. They are thieves and corrupt individuals. I wonder if Senator Foley was voting yes to ban internet gambling while he was texting inappropriate messages to underage boys? |

![]() It hurts gamblers, which is the only thing I care about in this situation, 7% BYE BYE
The industry has known about this for years, and not until recently, have they given a crap. Offshore companies have also known about this for years and I am sure they have something set up. Something like this could ruin several economies in the central/south American region |

![]() It's called Las Vegas.. If you don't think they had anything to do with this, you're sorely mistaken.. Also the government has no problem shutting down the doors of something it can't properly tax..
Bunch of Crap if you ask me. |

![]() Vegas was actually against this because it limits what they can do online. Vegas gets theirs, regardless of online companies or not....
Speaking of, got recruited from Ballys and invited to an invitational poker tourney last week in November. They are giving me three free nights, 1 entry into the tourney and $50 food voucher, 1st place pay 10k plus entry into WSOP...PRETTY pumped |
