I show a strong bias towards speed horses and towards horses drawn inside with my handicapping ... and I show a bias against horses drawn wide - and don't have the ability to get inside.
It's a little frustrating because a few certain jocks will come off the rail - or won't use their speed like they should. While an Arienne Cox can have the 11 hole and she'll go Calvin Borel and be on the rail in no time and refuse to come off of it. My best success has come with horses breaking from the middle with no speed to their inside and an agressive jock up. I've had a few 15/1 and 20/1 top pick winners that way. I haven't had any of the bombs on top who've won from post 1 .. but I've had a sickeningly high number of the logical speeds who've won from the rail at a short price. Speaking of Arienne Cox ... she might be the jockey with the most interesting myspace page in the country. Her boyfriend is the brother of Linda Rice. Here is her myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/104555680 The best part of it .... Quote:

By the way... on topic, any logical explanation of why the rail is so good? Is it the Tapeta? Watering/tilling schedule?
