Just saw the replay of this race. Did Desert Party grow like 2 hands since last year's Derby? He looked like a massive plough horse in there.

Really strong effort, seemed to be really easy also... I was impressed.

I wonder if they are pointing for the Sprint, Mile, or Classic.

They tend to get ambitious... I would guess off of this comeback he would be a leading contender for the sprint right now, especially with all the question marks in the division.

I think it was a prep for the Dubai World Cup

The 2011 or the 2012 edition?

Depends on what other monsters they plan on bringing to Saratoga. Is Regal Ransom still in training? Vineyard Haven?

That's a good point. And another good reason why they are a clusterfucl< of a organization.

You would think that Desert Party is certainly pointing towards the Forego as his summer goal. Godolphin is all about the Grade I's and 7fs will be more to his liking.

Vineyard Haven has posted seven workouts, with 6/19 being his most recent. Regal Ransom is going to the Suburban next week. Girolamo posted his 3rd workout this morning, so his debut is clearly the farthest off. Sara Louise has posted two workouts and her main goal pre-BC is the Ballerina.

With the Vanderbilt being a Grade I also that's a strong possibility for Desert Party as well.
