He was never NEAR Ramon Dominguez status, and I have no idea how you could ever think he was.
What he was doing a few years back was riding day and night at different tracks in the Md/Del/WV area and winning a lotta cheap races.
I believe he took a VERY bad spill and missed 6 months a year or two back. he still rides in the same circuit.

Dunkleberger is THE rider at Charles Town, and has been for a few years now.

He's nowhere close to Ramon is right. However, what the guy is, is an outstanding gate rider, which wins him a TON of 4.5 furlong races at CT.

Fogelsonger battles Pino and Napravnik for riding titles in Maryland pretty frequently. Can't imagine Rosie's going to stick around the mid-Atlantic circuit altogether too long though.

Dunks is a solid rider. I've never seen more horses get bet down strictly on the basis of a jockey than any given ride by Dunkleberger at Charles Town. Read the results on any given night.

Dunkleberger is getting a very bad reputation for calling the track vet/stewards attention to his mounts. I can understand if he doesn't feel safe, but he can't think the soundest of runners will be found at CT in a Wednesday night 3500 clamier. He is a good rider, but beware the "safe" ride on what looks liek a lock. He protects himself over giving an honest effort these days.

Don't I know that. It seems like at least once a night one of his mounts is scratched because of the recommendation of the state veterinarian. I would bet the farm on him any time he has the mount on Outcashem though.

I'd like to see her ride at Aqueduct. That's the perfect time and place for a young rider to make a move.
