i read the paragraph. seems like the million dollar a day is false advertising if most of the days arent 1 million. i understand its an average. but i still wonder if they will be anywhere near that when all is said and done.

I get emotional dealing with people who are illiterate... sorry please forgive me.

The "million dollar a day" is a shortened marketing term, would you rather them say "million dollar a day average in purses due to be paid based upon handle"?

Wow, are you the person who came up with the marketing campaign or something? Why are you getting so worked up?

Wonder if the Double DQ in today's 5th will have an effect, especialy since one of the placing's number wasn't blinking?

I think they did blink both numbers. Marquez claimed foul against both Bravo and Fragoso.

A little off topic, but I went to Monmouth on Father's Day. It was a little crowded but a great atmosphere. It also had a big card, full fields and low takeout on the pick 4s and the 50-cent pick 5 (which also had a guaranteed pool). I even got to see Bravo DQ'd from first in one race (not that I got anything against Bravo, but it did keep me alive in the pick 4). I did not count the purse total. I did have a good time.
