![]() As always breakdowns are difficult to take. For me, it's the only thing that has made me stay away from a track for an extended period of time.
This one sounds like it was one of the worst. God bless Inhaler. I hope he did not suffer long. I pray the connections did not run this horse knowing something was not 100% with him. I don't have the PPs so I don't know anything about Inhaler. The fact that he was off a year is questionable. As Richard wrote, "I don't believe we know what caused the breakdown". I agree. Interesting too regarding Unbridled Song with a 3x4 Mr Prospector cross being high risk breeding. Did not know this so thanks for this insight. God bless and protect all the horses. Without them we have nothing. |

Besides, its not like the owner needs the money and its not like the trainer needs the win. Breakdowns happen. It is a sad but unfortunate part of the sport. |
