![]() No, I meant "in general." The person making this argument is usually trying to dilute the evil of Islam by mixing it with other religions. It's also an effort to distract attention off of a topic. There are many reasons people do this. Some people just like balance. So, they see this whole topic as a religious equation. So, they put all the other religions on one side, and try to somehow prove that Islam is equal to the evil involved in other religions. This topic's (Islam is trouble for non believers) elixir is not that "other religions are bad, too." Evil is always added up to get a sum. All Religious evil pulls on the same side of a rope. People sound silly when they act like the presence of one type of religious evil lessens the other. It's such a Red Herring.

See, this is the problem with living close to these "tame" Muslims. If Something goes wrong in their lives, it's quite often the Non Muslim who pays the price. When their impulse control gets blown out, they tend to look for a Non Muslim to cut up. Somehow, we become no better than chicken meat (to be cut up.) This guy was supposedly a convert to Catholicism, but his lawyer now says that is false. Last edited by SCUDSBROTHER : 06-05-2010 at 03:52 PM. |
