If you like a horse in a race, do you really skip that race or a sequence it's in because of the take-out from your envisioned winnings?

If you like a horse in a sequence that has a 15% takeout vs. a 25% takeout it is something to consider. The point is that there are many choices and no urgency to wager into a pool that takes 10% more of your money.

If the horse in the 25% pool looks good why not simply place a flat win bet at 15% ?
