All this is, is a tribute/favor to the Mara family. For all they (Wellington) did for football (revenue sharing of TV rights). Also to help them get naming rights for the new billion dollar stadium.
I think it's a cool concept being from the area. But as a football fan I don't think it is fair. The whole concept of a neutral site is trying to keep the playing field level. If the Chargers end up playing the Packers in the 2014 Super Bowl, there is a very good chance that the Packers would be playing with an unfair advantage. If they wanted and cared about getting this game so badly, then they should have put a dome on the stadium.
