Default Newest Aqueduct Casino Bidding Process

http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/q...CXROA1DVKmfyhN

Here is the latest attempt by the New York government to finally move on the Big A casino. I still have a hard time believing that NY's corrupt politicians won't find a way to get their slice of this pot of gold.

I know you guys think the Hudson and the Pacific are the same thing, but following the casino/slots battles out here the last 6 years are as mind numbing as what NY is dealing with.

Default Illinois Slots

Does anyone have any idea if the slots will pass in IL to be placed in Arlington and hopefully double the purses? What day is the ballot on for?

Hey Paul...The Senate and House adjourned last Friday without calling the Slot bill for a Vote. It will pass the House easily, but there are 5 Senators from Casino districts who are making it difficult in the Senate. The Speaker won't call the bill unless they know they have the votes and this is the problem. Ironically, the "good" news in all of this is that they also adjourned without passing a budget so they must recovene in the next few weeks to get that done and the Slot bill will be brought up again.

Default Thanks Bob

Doesn't seem like a slam dunk.
Always some roadblock involved......
