Default SAT - Churchill Downs & AP late PK4s; BEL & LS Features

Churchill Downs POST SCRATCHES

R8 – Clm 40k

#7 Timbucto – Has shown speed on synthetics and the turn back should also help her chances.
#1 Maggie Moss Entry – Packs a one - two punch – 1A speed and 1 closer WON
#2 B.B. Mancini – SCR
#6 Holly’s Pal – Handled Alw company at Mountaineer and drops back in for a tag. 2ND

R9 – Unbridled Sidney 62k (Turf 5F)

#5 Selva – Has a class edge and last time she chased a track record performance by West Ocean. 3RD
#6 Trusty Temper – Should be much better here and she blew up the toteboard last year at Philly.
#8 Candy Cane – 1st time with Dutrow and definitely in the mix. WON
#1 Ivory Empress – Gutsy win at KEE in most recent. 2ND

R10 – Alw 50k N1X

#2 Mallory Square – Seems like this distance and dirt are to her liking. Looks tough. 4TH
#4 Remit – Comes in off the pine after earning diploma on this surface in the fall. WON
#1 Dipole Moment – Had to go to Indiana to break her maiden and could improve that effort. 3RD

R11 – MSW 48k (Turf 8F)

#4 Leopard Rock – (Live Longshot) Didn’t care for the mud earlier in the meet and could wake up in a big way on the lawn.
#2 Beyond Our Reach (Ire) – Ambitious 2yr old campaign and still looking for her 1st win. Pletcher / Gomez will drive the price at odds on territory.
#10 Dyani – Gets another outside draw and Leparoux will have to weave his way around traffic to challenge for the top spot. 4TH
#7 Argue – Should be forwardly place in a race that lacks pace.

PK4 – 1 6 7 / 1 5 6 8 / 2 4 / 2 4 7 10 = $48 ($.50 play)

#9 Garburetor 4TH
#5 Faith’s Magic 2ND

R9 – Alw 44.2k N2X

Thank Larry, with minimal scratches, I'll stick with my selections. We'll see how well the turf horses perform on the Poly today. Good Luck today.

Somehow they post OFF the Turf early and now just races 5 and 11 are off the Turf I originally posted General Charley as my BEST BET and took it off when the changes indicated they were OFF the Turf. He gets a yielding course and wins on the front end.

Default Thanks

Gus, nice pick on General Charley. I think Leopard Rock is worth another look. He had a troubled trip and I think we'll get another good price on him next time out.

Thanks Denny, I'm with you on Leopard Rock, I'll give her another shot.

Xpressbet was still showing OFF the Turf for Race 11 when the race was actually on. This stuff needs to be corrected and it's not the first time. Their scratches and changes are not reliable, so beware.

Sorry bud, but as long as underachievers like Beyond Our Reach keep burning money, we'll be OK.

No doubt, there are certain runners that continuously get over bet for a variety of reasons and she fits mold.

Gus,

I was going by Xpressbet. Sorry for the confusion. It is crazy that they can't get that right. How hard is it really?? Amazing.

Totally feel that pain with odd changes showing on XpressBet.

After a couple of issues, I found it was easier to just go straight to the AP website and look at the "Program Changes" link -- everything will be updated there before anywhere else, and it will be right.

Twinspires, very early in the mornings, has all sorts of "scratches" listed for various tracks. I have learned to simply ignore them.
