Sunday-Oaktree Race 5 Cal Bred filly (Velvety Smooth) will hopefully be in this trifecta, and could win it.She had the worst post and the rail was out(usually intimidates a closer stuck on the rail like she was) the last time she ran down the hill. She is a definite horse for course (late closing sprinter.)If she gets blocked, can probably still fill out the super.15-1 morning line. Will probably get bet to 5/1-7/1(hopefully not.)

Seems like those kind of races are very hard to ride in. You either get great trips are titanic like trips. Who do you like in the 8th Scuds?

I have bet 2 down the hill turf sprints since the meet started and that makes me 2 for 2, as I caught Early Anna at 8-1 on Friday.

I was looking at Railroad with Gryder. Doesnt seem to be a heck of a lot of speed and I know he likes to send. Wouldnt be the worst stab in the world in a race full of question marks. Good luck.

Nice call with Osidy. My horse Railroad ran pretty good but was never a threat to win. Would have been nice if he at least got 2nd.

Railroad ran very good considering how slow they went on the front end.. (22+ down the hill is pretty slow)

Yes, I was surprised Gryder didnt have him on the lead, especially with Richiebourg breaking dead last and never being a pace threat. Oh well.
