I think Espinoza said as much when Bailey asked him after the race why he didn't pull away-- that he knew by the 3/8 that he had it won so there wasn't a need. I think that's what he said, anyway-- the sound wasn't so good.

I think the Europeans are tough to beat come Breeder's Cup Day, but I sure liked watching the old man show up the young whippersnappers.

Speaking of the Europeans, I thought ESPN did a pretty decent job trying to highlight some of them in a very short amount of time as they lead up to the Breeder's Cup.
