Explain what? Are they supposed to blow everyone out every game?

Right, so MOV means nothing when it's the team you talk up. They're struggling at home to put away an 8-seed that should've been dead to rights after Game 4. If they're as great as you say they are, this game never should've been in doubt. You can't just say how awesome they are, then ignore their mediocre performance in this series except for one game. That's Shaugnessy analysis.

Give me a break. This is the NBA playoffs, not Wake Forest-NC State. Chicago has played well, perhaps you havent noticed but James has been quiet on the offensive end. Perhaps the elbow he injured the other day is bothering him?

Your argument is typically weak. They arent dominating... ooohhhh they must suck then...

I knew it. Chicago is playing too well, LeBron is secretly hurt. Cleveland's just doing enough to win. They're like Zenyatta.

Cleveland won games in this series by 10, 13, and 23. they lost by 2. How exactly is that not good?

Sure LBJ regularly takes 3 shots in a half. Or 12 in a closeout game. Obviously he has not been nearly as aggressive on the offensive end. Maybe he is feeling the pressure because ernest byner fumbled...

If Clev holds on nobody will care why they haven't been themselves tonight. Survive and advance is all that matters. Round 2 will still follow. Same Bat time Same Bat channels

LOL @ this game still being in doubt despite the refs robbing Rose of a 3-point play, two toilet bowl rimouts by Rose and a Byner-esque fumble by Noah.

It's the NBA. Mediocre except for one game pretty much describes the Celtics against the Heat too I'm pretty sure. I am confident the refs will give the Cavs the series. Aren't you?? Shaugnessy forgot about that. I know you never do however.

I am pretty confident about the matchup for the cavs. The matchup with Orlando is going to be tough. People have to look at how much Orlando improved during the second half of the year and what they have done against better teams and in close games. This team is game and talented.

I think the Celtic series will be quite tough. I think it goes 7. If nothing else you have the 3 biggest drama queens in the game in LeBron, Pierce and Garnett. It could tear a hole in the atmosphere. Rondo will destroy them. Mo is a vacuum on defense. Jamison was a great pickup...no way on earth they win a playoff game last year with Mo shooting 2 for 13 as he did last night. As the TNT commentators said...Jamison allows Mo to be the 3rd option this year rather than the clear number 2 like last year.

The problem with Jamison is that his perimeter defense is about the worst in the NBA. Against the celts, they can get away with him covering Garnett. Against the Magic, he will have to match up against Lewis or Carter. Trust me when I tell you that this will be a huge liability especially considering he will not use his size to post up anymore AND its not like you can send Shaq to the high post when it comes to the offensive end. I think if they plan to use Jamison a lot, they should do it more in conjunction with using Ilquaskas than Shaq. But you never know what that coach is going to do.

They are going to have major problems with Nelson if he keeps playing this way. Its not like they can have James playing a one man zone like they did last year. They will have to play them straight up and there are some very bad mismatches out there from the defensive perspective.
