Default BC

Looks like some thunder and lightning from the three year olds BC day in Ky. There is always a concern when 3yr olds face elders. The elders better beware of this 3yr old crop. Some nice ones comming from Europe also.

The only really good three year olds are Bernardini and George Washington. Nobody else.

Not when talking about the best in the world. The only two with a shot, actually probably will win, or Bernardini and GW. Wait a While has no chance. American turf horses are group 2 horses in Europe.

LOL. You have no purpose on this board but to stir things up. None....And maybe you missed the fact that American horses have won a bunch of turf races in the Breeders Cup. Remember Intercontinental and Artie Schiller.

They sure did, but not with the crop of the quality that is coming over this year. The Europeans are loaded. It is so competitive that top horses like Dylan Thomas and Shirocco might go in the Classic instead of the turf. George Washington, Araafa, Court Masterpiece, Proclamation and Librettist are all better than any american in the Mile. The Turf is not even competitive. Hurricane Run, Dylan Thomas, Shirocco, and any of the others they race against regularly will destroy horses like Cacique. 2 of those 3 will wind up in the Turf.

My brother is at a wedding. I do know nothing about European racing, but we talked about it all yesterday. My brother said the US racing is just not competitive with European racing. I didn't know it, but they ran 1,2,3,4 in the BC Turf last year. Obviously we were talking about where Showing Up would run.

My brother told me Showing Up is going in the mile, not the turf, but he has no chance, but for some reason milers make good stallions, and a top 3 finish there would be great for his value as a stud. He isn't retiring though this year anyway.

Often times, lightly regarded form from Europe translates into grade one quality over here...not having anything to do with quality, simply the difference in the courses! I remember when the great Dancing Brave came over to romp in the BCT...certainly no American horse could run with him! He met a horse named Manila that day...and I suspect Manila could run with any turf horse in the world! To be fair, Dancing Brave had just won the Arc and that's one tough double but translating form is a tricky thing! The US has the greatest turf horse ever and lots of great ones...

You didn't say this year, you said American horses are Grade 2 on the turf which is plain ridiculous.

Again, I have no clue why, with your history on this board, you are allowed to even post. You are no different than the trash on the ESPN board that trolls and trashes every horse and everyone.

And this has zero to do with the fact that I disagree with you this. Its simply that you are a complete as.s-hole.

I am sure I know a hell of a lot more than you. Group 2 european horses come to american and dominate in the BC Turf. They are just better horses on the turf. They breed for turf racing. Americans breed for the dirt. My brother is in the breeding business and has told me the turf sires in America are mediocre.

Can you think for yourself. Who is your brother and who cares? The fact that all you do is bring him up is just plain weird. My guess is you are like 16 years old or something.

I am 21 and I bring him up because he teaches me everything about horses. He makes a living at it. A very good living.

I will not touch any American horse in the Turf, but to say the Mile is a lock for Euro's is a bit much.

The 3-year-old crop is solid this year.

I guess if they allow somebody that thinks Mineshaft was better than Ghostzapper or Cigar to post here, they will allow anyone.

Now Spectacular Bid better than Secretariat makes me wonder where you get your drugs from. Those must be some good ones.

3yr olds in most all races will contend. Henny is thought by some to be the best sprinter.

johar dead heated with high chapparal, by using nos's logic (logic??) that would mean HC was group two at best, since johar matched strides with him....

also, anyone who makes a blanket statement that all u.s. turf sires are mediocre is smoking something.
