![]() He's got the physical talent for whatever they throw at him around one turn, but he's not ready for it mentally in the slightest. They need to relax w/him. I'd take a possible sprint Eclipse over a totally freaked out hopeless horse in the Derby.

![]() Watch the head-on replay of 85 in a 50's maiden win on Cal Racing ... he did the exact same thing for much longer.
Just as he did in the Whirlaway in between that brief window of time between the two seperate muggings he recieved. To me, the coolest thing about his performance today was that he actually was the outright winner of all four seperate race fractions. He ran the fastest 1st quarter, fastest 2nd quarter, fastest 3rd quarter, and fastest final 1/8th. This may seem common - but it's certainly not. Pretty rare actually. ![]() |
