I'd have to register to hear it...and don't want them to have my e-mail. If you could digest it, thanks. I've heard more than plenty of insults for not "buying the war". Heck, I'm one of the few that didn't put an American flag on my truck's antennae, and yellow or red, white and blue magnetic emblems on it. Then I heard that I was "unpatriotic". It goes with the talk-speak..."You're either with us or you're against us." Echoed by Rummy, (I paraphrase), if you are opposed to the war in Iraq, you are similar to Chamberlain, a nazi sympathizer. And all the while, I was under the delusion that the Bill of Rights allowed for free speech. I've learned my lesson. Next time I go to a used car lot, I'm going to buy the first clunker that the "salesman" offers. Sell those clunkers! Resistant buyers are stupid...or "unpatriotic". |

That dude that made the argument in that video couldn't argue worth a crap. He made me more of a believer in my views, which are obviously not the same as his, because he presented the arguments very weakly. However, some of the things he did say were true. Oh yeah, I'm against the war so I'm a Nazi sympathizer. Yeah, that's exactly what I am ![]() As you can tell, I don't like that woman. I feel that it is my duty to somehow get her fired or take her down (from her job) or outsmart/outdebate her (which I think that I can). I hope I get the chance one day, because I will surely take it. People like her should not be allowed to publish their material. It makes the whole country look bad. And why aren't the major news outlets putting it out? Your guess is as good as mine. If you watch Fox, CNN, MSNBC or any others, keep a score card and make note of ANY coverage coming out of Iraq. The lack of coverage speaks volumes with its silence. Hey, elections are coming. We have other things to pay attention to, like Paris Hilton, school lockdowns, and an allergic reaction to meds by a football guy. That's important "stuff". |

Speculation is out as to what Rove's "October Surprise" is going to be. Will it be anthrax, a foiled "terror attack", or something to do with Iran? There might be something coming soon, do you want to guess what the "distracton" is going to be this time around? I don't know what it will be. Your guess is as good as mine. Just as long as Iraq escapes the memory of the voters, at least, until AFTER the elections. |

![]() KyRose,
I'll leave this thread for others to debate. But I'll leave with the words of a poem written by a young woman, at the end of WWI. Her name is Wilfred Owens. These are the concluding words from her poem, "Dulce et Decourum Est" "If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs, Obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues, My friend, you would not tell with such high zest To children ardent for some desperate glory, The old Lie; Dulce et Decorum est Pro patria mori." Peace to you, sister. Truth to you brothers that see. Wisdom to all that see the insanity. Let those that have ears, hear. |
