I dunno know about that. I dunno know about that at all. My experience with unsound horses is that they run their best races with no pressure. Stretch duels have a way of getting to them. The extra exertion sometimes becomes their undoing. Hes another one I wanna see looked in the eye before I annoint him the second coming, and I really love the horse. Hes never been battle tested though. If you think he'd just walk by a horse like Silver Train without being pushed to the limit you and I disagree. As a matter of fact, thats exactly the kinda horse who could beat him. One thing about Silver Train is thathe is one ofthe gamest horses I ever saw. hes been in jeopardy of being beat 3 times in grade one races, and each time he held on or fought off his opponent. Hes one of those horses who knows what his job is and knows where the finish line is. He ain't no pushover, hes game and hes fast. |

![]() I like Silver Train a lot, but he's not on Discreet Cat's level to me.

![]() Well, if those two go to the Cigar Mile, Lawyer Ron is definitely off of my win list for that race...
I thought this would be a good spot for Lawyer Ron, but no way can he beat those two monsters. Still, a third or a fourth (depends on who else shows up in that race) in a GI race would be better than an off the board finish in the BCC. |
