I noticed and wondered at the time if something had gone wrong.

Here is the thing, Smith would have never stayed on her back and galloped her home if it was anything close to serious.

She should have easily been clipped while in that trouble, hopefully it is just a minor scrap or cut.

There pre-race answers sure lead people to believe she is a-ok. We didn't some of the "We'll see how she comes out and figure out a plan" type crap

Doesn't it typically take up to 72 hours to really know if something serious yet not severe happened.. We all know she didnt snap a leg off.
