The horses owner does not need money and is well into his 70's.. Levine as any trainer would wanted to campaign a triple crown horse If the money isn't going to change ANYTHING and you are in your 70's why not take a shot you worked hard your whole life for? It's not like they were offered 25mil

Too bad for the horse and connections. However, he'll be tough in the fall . Money isn't everything if you can afford to keep the horse .

Feel very badly for Levine. This has been a very difficult situation for him and now there's nothing remotely close to a payoff for the time devoted to the horse. Brutal business.

He gave up a ton of business in NY to go to Fl with this horse, Roddy V who is local said he backed up claiming a few horses because of the Levine situation, at least he stayed loyal. I have always liked Levine and also feel bad.
