The best thing about the Meadowlands (at least for me) was the night racing. Agree that it was nice having a pristine turf course so late into the season too, but as far as logistics you're right. Not to mention it has to hurt them that they have to be dark on Sunday afternoons due to Giants and Jets home games.
Who knows, maybe that little fall meet will lead them to making a push for the BC again. Even though I was kind of against it, I thought that they did a great job the first time and would love to see them get another crack with hopefully much better weather conditions.

I don't know what his beef was, but for the amount of rain that they had it still turned out to be a wonderful event (at least according to me). I really believe that if it wasn't the Breeders Cup there would have been at least one day if not two days of racing canceled because of the monsoon that rolled through.
