With those types of purses, you are going to see some insane claiming races. you will see 50k claimers being run for 15k because there will be a 50k pot attached to it.

While I am sure we would look for spots there, I am guessing we would take the low lying fruit at Philly

How many 15k claimers you think they are looking to wite 2 a month for NJ breds? You are 100% percent right people will be dropping 50k claimers into 25k's like water.. How many real 50k claimers are there in ALL of NA racing anyway that class of animal is gone.

I would have to think places like Churchill will be affected more that Woodbine. In addition, you can probably forget about any ''decent'' (if at all racing) at Suffolk, which would force them to out of business at the end of the year, if not sooner. At least half the stables are expected to be empty at Suffolk this year.

CD and NY will be the ones most effected horse-wise. Suffolk can still count on Clement to make 40 starts to keep the old % high.

It'll be a cavalry charge challenging the Kentucky Derby. Except they probably have the sense to limit the field to 12 horses like they do in NY.
