but are they taking 50 cent minimum wagers? or is $1 the minimum.

they have to be set up to take less than $1 minimum...

for example, nyc otb does not take 50 cent wagers

I was just wondering if anyone has been out there recently where they have actually made wagers with the thost track minmums

They are just like any simulcast place. But call b/c they didn't have 50 cent base wagers the last time I was there.

Thanks RS, that's what I was asking...

seems silly to me that these facilities can't get their **** together and give us the wagering platform the bettor deserves...

NJ Bets has improved their platform immensely, and outside of have to wait for the tape delay version of NYRA, is very good.

I was just out there a couple weeks ago... The Venetian is OK they've got a pretty nice set up and will provide free drinks to horseplayers. I stopped by the Wynn and its very nice, didn't stick around long enough to explore the beverage options. Emeril's Stadium at the Palazzo is a waste of time if you're looking to bet the horses. They sent me to the Venetian to get a form and only had the races on one TV.

my recollection is that the wagering menu's were the same at each book...
