He was lovingly refered to as the kindest horse in HK on all the Hk threads.
When his stable mate, Vengeance of Rain, was sent to quarantine before a trip to Dubai the owner of Syllabus (Sir John Swaine) graciously allowed his horse to remain with VOR so he wouldn't be lonely. Syllabus began his career in Hong Kong in Class 4 but moved up quickly his second season (Class 4 to 1). A member of the illustrious Top 50, Syllabus, a 9 year old gelding, retires with a rating of 109.
