I live locally and the news this morning is the storm will be moving more
towards the San Diego area, we will get a half inch maybe late morning, clearing up by afternoon and a beautiful Sunday. |

The turf might well be other than "Firm", but I don't think this would cause a dirt track to get the point of "sloppy" or "muddy"

They are saying stuff like "A few thunderstorms are going to be around(mainly in the afternoon, and evening.") I think it's a go. Will maybe be like it was on the 5th of FEB.

It's time for anyone with Derby aspirations to get the hell out of Cali and head east for reasonable prep....of course you could have said that anyway with the synthetic tracks.

Yeah, let's head east with the crappy snow storms and frozen tracks, no thanks, our synthetic horses didn't do too bad in last years Derby, far better than the Gulfstream or Aqueduct horses did |

Rained pretty hard for 15m, and then cleared (in the hills a couple miles north of HWD PK.) Gunna be patchy. They still haven't had a drop at Anita.
