So which day is the Sham supposed to be?

Anyways, despite the course specialists (Mr. Gruff was particularly potent last season), I wonder if Sangaree, a half brother to Congaree out of the fleet-footed Mari's Sheba, has a shot to make a late burst cutting back in that down-the-hill race.

They carded it on Sunday as a "10th" race in case the card gets cancelled on Saturday.. (it's supposed to rain Friday night/Sat morning)

I just read where Mitchell said that Ever A Friend was the best horse he has ever trained.

He's mistaken (he's getting old.) Speightstown ran huge to beat Kela in the 2004 B.C. Sprint. I'm sure that hurt. He may have tried a little too hard to forget about it.
