Nonsense. Even a bunch of GOP Senators and Congressmen have specifically thanked stimulus funds for creating specific jobs and projects in their states. .gov has that information for you, btw. When a state received $333,000 to do a specific road project that hired 12 people, that's not "bull" or "bogus". This isn't guessing about the future, it's looking back at what actually happened. Is it completely exact down to the penny? Obviously not - and that's the part within the "range" that is given.

Then go look at the GOP Congressional site, and pick out, after they say, "The stimulus didn't create a single job", a few of the specific stimulus projects and specific jobs those same GOP are bragging about bringing home to their states.

You seem to not be able to decipher the difference between reality and politics. I guess it makes for conversation...but not good conversation.

Huh? No, that would be you

The reality is that the GOP says the stimulus bill "didn't create one job".

Yet they are photographed as they pass out stimulus checks in their home districts, while being quoted as saying that the X amount of government stimulus money in their hands for Y project is great because it is creating Z number of jobs.

Are they still not members of Congress? Your argument is pointless. If we posted every instance where a politician changed course on a topic or claimed credit when they werent due any we would overload the servers.

They are politicians. This is 2010. They have been doing the same thing forever just now we have this handy thing called the internet where we can follow and record every move anyone ever makes. There are plenty of things that the GOP does wrong that you can rightfully complain about but this is silly.

Joey said the stimulus didn't create one job. Even the GOP says it is creating jobs, and they number them.

Sorry you think that is "pointless" to bring up

no, everything the reps do is wrong, while the dems are a shining beacon of light, here to lead us to the land of milk and honey.

matter of fact, i think we need to change the rules, and make obama president for life. that way he can fix everything, since eight years won't be enough to take care of all the problems george bush caused. unlike all the other polititicians over the years, you can trust this guy and believe everything he says. and he's so smart, we're all fools to ever doubt him about any issue.
