No, it would cover him if his Cobra ran out. Once he's dead from the brain cancer, then she'd have go back to work. Just saying that if people want this to be treated like a luxury item, then they'd better protect a stay at home wife with some damn good life insurance on the breadwinner.

i recommend to everyone they buy life insurance, as well as short term disability. it's dirt cheap here. but do they listen? some do, some don't. i have a guy here who's the only one working, makes good money. did he take the health insurance out that we offer? he'd pay $10 a week. no, he did not. but when he doesn't feel well, i have to hear how he won't go to the doctor because he hasn't got insurance.
i understand there are people out there who want it, but it isn't offered. what i fail to understand is folks like this guy, who doesn't bother to get it. insanity.
men who marry and are the sole, or primary earner, are irresponsible if they don't take out life insurance. especially if they also start having children. it's not cheap to bury someone anymore, why saddle your widow with that debt, along with all that goes with it?
