video of fight on bus

Surprisingly this happens frequently on Muni buses in SF, this is the third video on the news in the past six months, more often than not it's black on black fights. This video is especially memoriable because the obvious agressor got his ass kicked.

I don't understand either of the 2 throws by the brotha. Neither shot is anywhere near the old man's head. If you aren't gunna throw headshots, then why would you start the fight?

Old man did get up and walk away from a fight but the dumbass wanted to show him who was boss. Old man was crazy.

Uh, why can't we just have a normal bus ride? Life's too short as it is. Regardless of who started it, why do we have to fight with someone we don't even know?

I would rather have witnessed a random act of kindness, but I guess that's the Christian in me talking.

Christian? You could of fooled me. You know there are a lot of jobs that don't provide health care. People consider themselves lucky to have the job, but they don't have access to any affordable health care plan. If a lady in that situation gets breast cancer, she's not gunna know it until the symptoms are pretty bad. I don't see your whole Conservative game plan as Christian at all (AT ALL.) It's (obviously) the party for the selfish. I don't know how people couch it as Christian. It's almost 100% in conflict with many of Christ's teachings. "WHATEVER YOU DID UNTO ONE OF THE LEAST, YOU DID UNTO ME." People rationalize it away, but you would think it'd be more important to Christians than it often appears to be. Maybe they think Christ didn't really mean it, or he was naive. That it? You must have some way to rationalize all the things the Conservatives do to fight against helping the people Christ was talking about. I've never understood how so many people rationalize their actions. It's amazing.

Well the government taking more money from some to give to others as the redistribution of wealth falls under the "Thou shalt not steal" part. I also don't think Christ would have been amused by the "Robbing Peter to pay Paul" situation, pun intended.

You are also rationalizing quite a bit. Socialism does NOT fall under Christian teachings. Charity, yes, of course, but stealing from the achievers to give to others is not charity. That is compulsory, and as such is often warped into making those who carry out the policy more powerful and often more evil. Have you also overlooked the contempt that Christ had for the tax collectors of his time, save Matthew who became an apostle and left that life behind?

Communism, socialism, progressivism and whatever other shades of gray you wish to paint are all corruptions of the human spirit. They suppress creativity and progress and reward those who wish to let others carry the burden.

I'm also amazed that you took a comment I made, against the obvious violence in the video, and twist that into a disagreement we apparently have on healthcare legislation. Scuds, you got a problem. Switch to decaf will ya?

And what about the chick filming it talking about pressing charges?? Her friend threw the first punch.

You can also hear her saying around the 1:20-1:25 mark..."beat his ass. beat his white ass"
