If tracks in the NE and Mid-Atlantic rescheduled because of *OMG* 22 degree wind chills, there wouldn't be any cards run between the months of November and March. Wimps.

Oaklawn has a sandy based soil on the track. And trust you me if you were from the South you'd know this already. Snow shuts the place down. I mean people leave work early and they make a mad dash for the Super Market. I worked at a market growing up and when the radio said there's a chance for snow, just a chance, man we were swamped for days. I think the people who owned stores paid the weatherman off to boost sales.
