It is NY, they can't come up with a marketing plan and a real stakes race? How about bringing in a big name band and putting a Stakes race for older horses in there. Pimlico is a terrible track and they still pack them in on Friday before the Preakness.

Pimlico is different in that (normally), the Kentucky Derby winner is contending for another win and a chance at the triple crown. Once the Preakness is done, the amount of people at Belmont will be largely determined on whether or not we have a triple crown contender.
