Heck of a way to hear about Thorn Song. Too bad.

Seems like a good time to re-read "Wild Ride", if one wants to refresh about pyramid schemes, financial over-extension, bloodsucking agents, and financial fraud in a business that depends upon the performance of living animals to make money.

i was hoping it would turn out an incorrect story, but thought the chances of that were nil.

they going to rename him lazarus, if in fact he's still alive? at this point i'd say someone needs to show the horse so we know for sure.

Definitely getting good. Essentially, if I read this correctly, he collected a insurance check on a horse he knew was alive. Crazy ****.
