One person referred to it as Bill Clinton's "Tom Cruise moment" as in when Tom Cruise made a fool of himself on Oprah by jumping on the couch.

He was completely defensive and made numerous poor arguments. For example he said he had all these great plans drawn up to use special forces to go in and get bin laden, however the entire military was against it. Hello! The entire military? I thought the commander-in-chief had a few powers of his own. Don't they after all report to him? He couldn't convince anybody?
i know he showed zero respect for the military, and they hated him. to be honest, the military could very well have given him the cold shoulder on his plans, maybe they sucked! i mean, look what happened when he finally put his toys away and decided to launch a strike. killed that baby formula factory, didn't he! way to go bill. always felt safer once that killer baby formula monster was put out of business.

Everyone says that Clinton is so smart but I started to wonder when I heard an interview with him about a month after 9/11. They were asking him what was going to happen. They asked him if he thought we would end up invading Afghanistan or not. He answered that he didn't think so because he thought that after we showed the Taliban that we have evidence of Bin Laden's involvemnet with 9/11, that the Taliban would hand over Bin Laden to us.

I remember thinking to myself, "I'm no expert on Afghanistan but I know darn well that there is no chance in hell that the Taliban is going to turn over Bin Laden." Here is Clinton who is supposed to be so smart and is supposed to know something about that part of the world, yet he was totally clueless about the mindset of the Taliban. He may have a high I.Q. but I don't think he has very good judgement.

one of bill clintons weaknesses going into the presidency was lack of knowledge on foreign affairs. guess he didn't bother to educate himself much once he got there--on foreign affairs that is!

Thank goodness the foreign affairs wizard W took over the presidency!! OUr foreign affairs are in such good order now. When does the statute of limitations for blaming everything on Clinton and his sexual activity run out??? IN 50 years will all problems occurring in the world go back to clinton's activity with Lewinsky?? Just curious...is it 11 years?? 8 years?? 43 years?? At what point do the worlds problems not evolve back to Clinton's penile activities??

i was talking of clinton....but bush is no better, i agree. it's funny, some think if you say something bad about one, the assumption is that you feel the other must be good. i think they're both buffoons.
