Someone mentioned it before, I also think the fact that he doesn't ride first call for guys lke Pletcher, Kiran, Baffert etc..... hurts him in some of the bigger races. But I really think he is a guy who is on the cusp of exploding and trainers will be wanting him to fly in to ride their horses all over the country. He's on his way to that next level.
I am not sure who is agent is but something tells me he needs to switch. He has proven he can win Jockey titles but now he can start proving he can earn and win those big races. When rosario first started riding in So. Cal he was indeed a talent but when Vic started becoming his agent, he secured better mounts for him. An agent switch for Dominguez could indeed secure relationships with better trainers.

Haha. I am glad you feel you need to find some redemption by posting that.

I got to admit that was one helluva ride. He sat patient and instead of opting to go wide he sat chill and waited for an opening and took it and won.

i find redemption in it....funny how he split horses and schooled the pack. and theres this thread that started putting him down. i imagine he would be one of the leading riders at gulfstream if he chose to ride there. yeah, keep dissing him..all i know is where ever he goes he wins. no love for ramon in florida is the name of the thread...well they would not know a good jockey if he won races every day at every track he rides on. oh yeah, thats what he does already . he really stinks.....lol

He wins a G3 and you find redemption? You are easlily amused. Maybe you should wait till Jan 2011 when he might win the eclipse for other reasons besides winning Jockey Titles. Then you can re-post your message.
Granted it was a great ride in the Holy Bull but I still hold my opinon about him as him not being an Elite jockey yet.

This post just shows how completely out of touch you are with this entire scenario. You want a guy who won the riding title at every f*ing meet in NY to change agents? You know what, you might not think Dominguez is elite, but I bet the elite amount of money he put in his pocket after winning 300+ races and 5 Grade I's is fine.

JHC, his agent comes to NY and orchestrates one of the strongest years in 30and you want the guy to fire him.

What is this based on? Because he hasn't won a TC race? Someone already brought up neither has Leparoux or Gomez. No one's saying Dominguez is better than Bailey, or Stevens, or McCarron, or Pincay. He's still pretty damn good.

His botched ride on Old Fashioned in the Rebel last year forced us all to endure delusional Win Willy fans for a few weeks.

That in itself is cause enough to hate him.
