He should've said that RA ran against horrible fillies, mediocre 3yo colts, and bad older horses all year … then stayed in the barn on Championship Saturday.

Oh yeah, and Zenyatta was beating some of the best Allowance Fillies and Mares that Cali had to offer.

Lol … yeah, that BCC field was just filled with "allowance fillies and mares".

Whatever. I'm just glad I don't have to listen anymore to Jerry Bailey whining about how Rachel didn't run in the Travers.

I was comparing the WHOLE YEAR...not a single race.
It was a great performance.
As was the Haskell that RA thrashed Munnings and Summer Bird.

You can't be serious, VOL JACK.

Munnings is a stone-cold sprinter … and SB was coming back from a two-month layoff and spotting RA five pounds, to boot. Not to mention the fact that the Travers, not the Haskell, was his main summer objective.

That Jersey race was EASY pickins for RA.

There is absolutely NO comparison between Z's BCC and RA's Haskell, in my estimation.

Enough bickering... Let them settle it on the track this year.
In hopefully will be more that one encounter.

It could be a great rivalry on the track, just like Sunday Silence and Easy Goer.

Though I am a bigger fan of Zenyatta than RA, I must admit RA ran a more grueling campaign and met and defeated all foes. Though RA won all her races, it did seem she had to work a lot for her wins. Zenyatta on the other hand never reached her maximum effort and will be interesting to see how much more she can offer.

Wouldn't be surprised if Mr. 'Sportsman' ducks Big Mama for as long as possible … maybe even till the BC…

you could pick apart the classic field as well. the voters saw the year for what it was, and voted accordingly. luckily they aren't biased towards california, and think everything that occurs there is so much better than everywhere else.

If you have a bucket that holds 2 gallons, and another bucket that holds 5 gallons, how many buckets do you have?
