Or that the spammer knows damn well that guys like GBBob and I know full well of the plethora of viruses we have.

If anyone would like a list of free programs that will keep all but the most retarded (drugS like) computer users' computers clean, I can provide a list of software that I use to keep people's machines running better than new.

There was another one of these registrations overnight... I've blocked the Email addresses these are coming from which should stop them... But remind anyone who gets these to ignore and delete...

What do you mean?

If you are talking about bloated software like Norton, Mcaffee or Kaspersky, I'd agree.

I repair computers all the time and have a pretty good idea on what software is crap.

They are, sort of... New registrants have restricted access for posting until approved, but not for PM use. And I can't find a way to shut off PM system for unapproved registrants on the vBulletin operation panel(s). It's only this recent episode where the 'invaders' started PMing. They can only PM 5 members at a time though. I have put the Email addresses they've used on block for registration and have now blocked a word they've used in their registration moniker as well... Should hold them at bay.
