Take Control surprisingly wasn't on the list until after his maiden win. I was assuming he would have been listed prior to that based purely on hype. Once they added him at 50-1, which was already probably too low, he took a lot of money fairly quickly.
If you're not going until Superbowl weekend, then many of the odds will have changed by the time you arrive, especially with the Holy Bull and Lecomte already have been run. But still, it will still be early enough to find some good values. |

John Avello at Wynn probably has the best reputation for maintaining a Kentucky Derby future book. Lucky's does a very good job as well. Just beware of joints that only lower the odds on horses. If you don't see any horses above their opening line, you are getting ripped off. A good bookmaker will raise odds on horses getting no action to entice bettors.
